About Us

Petra Tours & Travel has been established since 1991 in Stockholm, Sweden by Mr. Jean Zanbil, who is the owner and director. Mr. Jean Zanbil was born in the Holy Land. He received his high school education from “College des Fréres de la Salle” in Jerusalem. Later, he joined the school of tourism at the University of Jerusalem. His drive to tourism pushed him to specialise more within tourism and do a Master’s degree which enabled him to be an expert within aviation, incoming, outgoing and laws & regulations of tourism (obtained in 1983). He then worked for two of the biggest tourism agencies in Jerusalem and Jordan. Moreover, he has over thirty years of experience within the field.

At Petra Tours & Travel we aim for customers’ satisfaction and strive to achieve it by all means. We specialise in trips to the Middle East. More specifically our main work is in Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt and the Holy Land. Whether you are only looking for flight tickets or you are looking for guided tours, we make it happen for you.
